This ivory, pink and green women's straw hat is so pretty! It is completely handmade, hand blocked and one of a kind. The hat is topped with a sinamay straw brim that I tinted then embellished with a leafy vine. It's further embellished with a peachy pink silk band, handmade silk flower and wispy distressed crinoline. It is perfect for a special occasion like Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, church or summer garden party. The Wide brim makes a statement, as does the slightly asymmetrical crown. ABOUT THE MAKER: I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
